    Terms of Service

    Last Updated: 10/26/2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website and services provided by Renovate Stillwater ("we," "us," or "our"), a home repair and renovation contractor located in Stillwater, OK. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

    1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this site are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the website. A separate written contract will govern any renovation, repair, or construction services performed by Renovate Stillwater. These Terms govern only the use of this website and the initial request for quotes or estimates.

    2. Use of the Website

    License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the website for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not use the website for any unlawful purpose or in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the website.

    Prohibited Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Use the site in any way that violates applicable federal, state, local, or international law
    • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate the company, its employees, or other users
    • Engage in unauthorized framing of or linking to the site
    • Attempt to access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the site
    • Introduce any viruses, trojan horses, worms, or other malicious code
    • Scrape, copy, or distribute website content without express written permission
    • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device to access the site

    3. Intellectual Property

The website and its entire contents, features, and functionality — including all text, graphics, logos, photographs, project images, audio, digital downloads, and software — are owned by Renovate Stillwater, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

The "Renovate Stillwater" name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Renovate Stillwater. You may not use, copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without our prior written consent. Project photographs displayed on this site are the property of Renovate Stillwater and represent actual work performed by our team.

    4. Estimates and Quotes

Any estimates or quotes provided through this website or by our team are preliminary and based on the information available at the time of the request. Estimates are not binding and are subject to change based on:

    • On-site inspection and assessment of the project scope
    • Material availability and pricing fluctuations
    • Unforeseen conditions discovered during the project (e.g., hidden water damage, structural issues, code violations)
    • Changes to the project scope requested by the client
    • Permit and inspection requirements imposed by local jurisdictions

A final, binding quote will be provided in a written contract after an in-person or on-site consultation. The online estimator tool is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.

    5. Services and Payment Terms

    Project Contracts

All renovation, repair, and construction services performed by Renovate Stillwater are governed by a separate written contract. The contract will specify the scope of work, materials to be used, project timeline, payment schedule, warranty terms, and other project-specific details. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed project contract, the project contract shall prevail.

    Payment Schedule

Typical payment schedules for renovation projects include an initial deposit upon contract signing, progress payments at defined milestones, and a final payment upon project completion. Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your project contract. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

    Late Payments

Payments not received within the timeframe specified in the project contract may be subject to late fees. Renovate Stillwater reserves the right to suspend work on any project for which payments are past due.

    Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed-upon scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both the client and Renovate Stillwater. Change orders may affect the project timeline and total cost. Work on changes will not begin until the change order is signed.

    6. Warranties and Guarantees

Renovate Stillwater warrants its workmanship for a period specified in your project contract, typically one (1) year from the date of project completion. This warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and conditions. It does not cover:

    • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance by the property owner
    • Normal wear and tear
    • Damage from natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
    • Issues arising from pre-existing conditions not caused by our work
    • Materials or fixtures supplied by the client or installed by others
    • Repairs or modifications made by anyone other than Renovate Stillwater

Manufacturer warranties on materials, fixtures, and appliances are separate from our workmanship warranty and are passed through to the client. We will assist in registering manufacturer warranties where applicable.

    7. Disclaimers

The materials on Renovate Stillwater's website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Renovate Stillwater makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

Renovate Stillwater does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site. In no event shall Renovate Stillwater or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Renovate Stillwater's website.

Project timelines provided in estimates or contracts are good-faith projections and may be affected by weather, material availability, permitting delays, and other factors beyond our control. We will communicate any delays as soon as practicable.

    8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Renovate Stillwater, its owners (Cody Outhier & Will Shadowen), officers, employees, or subcontractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the website or services, even if Renovate Stillwater has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, Renovate Stillwater's liability shall be limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

    9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Renovate Stillwater, its owners, officers, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the site; (ii) your violation of these Terms or any law or regulation; (iii) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

    10. Third-Party Links and Content

The site may contain links to third-party websites or display third-party content that is not under our control. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party sites. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Renovate Stillwater. You access any third-party site at your own risk.

    11. User-Submitted Content and Reviews

If you submit a review, testimonial, or project feedback through our website or social media channels, you grant Renovate Stillwater a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content for marketing and promotional purposes. You represent and warrant that any content you submit is accurate and does not violate the rights of any third party.

Renovate Stillwater reserves the right to edit, modify, or remove user-submitted content at our discretion.

    12. Dispute Resolution

    Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms or relating to the use of this website shall be resolved in the courts located in Stillwater County, OK.

    Informal Resolution

Before initiating any formal dispute resolution, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved through informal negotiation within thirty (30) days, either party may pursue formal legal remedies.

    Arbitration

Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the website shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Construction Industry Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in Stillwater, OK. Judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.

    13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. All provisions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

    14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to revise these Terms at any time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last Updated" date at the top. By continuing to access or use our website after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.
